On November 1st, 2024, in the "Schwarz" auditorium at Sofia University, our young expert Deyan Yalamov talk to 11th-grade students from the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBG), presenting the key concepts and ideas of the European project CHIPS of Europe, in which the Centre of Research and Analysis is partner:
- Improving education in the field of semiconductors.
- Engaging more young people (girls in particular) to choose professional careers in this field.
- Ensure higher competitiveness of the European economy.
The detailed presentation of the close connection between the economy- artificial intelligence-gamification-education, and the role of semiconductors in each element in this scheme (programmable MicroBit devices with games, phone applications (PowerApps, Android applications), micro-games in Minecraft, quizzes) was accepted with interest and followed by a lot of questions and lively discussion.
