The 3-year project Mr.Goodfish3.0 - Co-creating Solutions for Sustainable Seafood Consumption in which CRA is happy to participate starts on 1st May 2024. The project contributes to upscaling the Mr.Goodfish programme of 2010 across the European Union in a large-scale awareness campaign and is funded by the European Commission’s Research & Innovation programme-Horizon Europe.
Mr. Goodfish3.0 is coordinated by Marine and Maritime Institute, Cyprus, and Consortium members: the biggest aquarium in Europe - Nausicaā, France, two of the largest European networks: European Food Information Council (EUFIC) and European Network for Science Centres and Museums (Ecsite), the latter bringing 3 of its members: Nortnorsk Vitensenter, Norvey; Centrum Nauki Experiment, Poland and Centre of Research and Analysis, Bulgaria into the project. Thus, Mr. Goodfish3.0 will deal with the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea & Channel, the Baltic Sea, the Artic Ocean, the Black Sea and the Danube River.
In upscaling Mr.Goodfish (where Nausicaā is one of the developers), one of the aims is to upgrade and expand the Mr.Goodfish app as part of an EU-wide awareness campaign thus reaching for tens of millions European citizens.
